6th Annual White House Tea Party Rally for DC Democracy

Come rally with the Young Suffragists for equal rights for DC: a vote in the House, a couple Senators, and true local government by 2012. Growing bigger and louder every year, we are determined to be heard. Kids' speeches, parading, songs and chants. Snacks provided! RSVP to info@youngsuffragists.org.

Come wrap up Freedom Week with an Independence Day Parade alongside our very own (voteless but relentless) Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton. Wear your Young Suffragist shirts and bring any posters that survived the rally! The parade starts at 11 and ends at the Palisades Rec Center on Sherrier Place NW, where the fun continues with free hot dogs, cold drinks and other hot weather outdoor goodies.
