Washington DC City Museum
www.citymuseumdc.org Head to the City Museum to see the exhibit about both the local and national history of Washington. Find your home on the illuminated floor map, then discover photos and artifacts from some of the great social movements of the 20th century.
US Capitol & Congresswoman Norton's Office Go to the Capitol! We are lucky to live so close to national democracy in action, even though we can't properly participate in it. Anyone can go the Capitol and see the House or the Senate in session. Stop by DC Congresswoman Norton's office or better yet, wander around the Senate chamber asking tourists from other states to help you obtain viewing passes from their senator, since we have none of our own.
